◆ y -5 = x^2 + 6x +3

=) y = x^2 +6x + 8

=) so for finding roots of equation

y = 0

then , x^2 +6x + 8 = 0

=)we can write this eqn as

=) x^2 + 4x+2x + 8 = 0

=) x(x+4) + 2(x+4) =0

=) (x+4)(x+2) =0

=) x+4 =0 or x+2 =0

=) x = -4 or x = -2

# roots are -4, -2
