Does the point (3,7) lie on the line whose equation is y=3x-2

It this point lies on this line then it must satisfy it !

Given equation is y = 3x-2

LHS : y ans y = 7

Now RHS 3x- 2 = 3×3 -2 = 9-2 = 7

so LHS= RHS

so this point (3,7) lies on this line
