2. How many sixteenth notes would be needed to have the same duration as 3 quarter notes? Represent this as a fraction

A sixteenth note is 1/4 of a beat while a quarter note is 3 beats. So you would need to multiply 3 and 4 to get 12. So it takes 12 16th notes to equal 3 quarter notes. The fraction would be 12/3. (as a ratio right?)
