Twice the difference of a number and 3 is equal to three times the sum of the number and 3. Find the number.

2 (x-3)=3 (x+3) writing it down in equation form

2x-6=3x+9 removing brackets

2x-3x=9+6 collecting like terms

-×=15 divide it by -1

x=15
