For every 14 ice-cream cones Olga buys, she gets 2 free.

How many free ice-cream cones will Olga get if she buys 56 cones?

She will get 8 free cones. To solve this you do the following:

56 ÷ 14 = 4 (unit rate), then you add on 2 every time 14 cones are bought.

so 2 + 2 + 2 + 2= 8.

hopefully this helps

Answer:

8\ free

Explanation:

we know that

For every
14 ice-cream cones Olga buys, she gets
2 free

so by proportion

Find how many free ice-cream cones will Olga get if she buys
56 cones

(2)/(14)(free)/(buy)=(x)/(56)(free)/(buy)\\ \\x=56*2/14\\ \\x=8\ free
