"We the people"
These are words that represent "me" as well as my brothers and sisters in Nation "us".
It instantly addresses the age old human question: "what's in this for me?"
That is a great hook.

The first line, "We the Peopleā€¦" appeal to the readers because of its call to unity: we-us, one country, our country in liberty. The preamble also expresses the idea of promoting equality and justice for all.

The Preamble of the United States Constitution established the objectives of the government. It expresses the principle of representative democracy, emphasising that the people hold the power through elections. It also states the importance of justice, peace, freedom, and welfare to all citizens.
