Tucker and Blanca both went bowling last weekend, but not together. Tucker went during open bowling time, paying $1 for shoe rental and $2 per hour. Blanca went on family night, when each hour was $1 and shoe rental was $4. As it turned out, they played for the same number of hours and spent the same amount. How many hours did each one bowl?

Write a system of equations, graph them, and type the solution.
Graph it pls?

They bowled for 3 hours and spent $7.
(I have no Idea how to make a graph on this website, so I can't help you there, sorry)
Let x = number of hours
Tucker: 2x+1
Blanca: x+4

2x+1 = x+4
x=3

For the graphs your lines should have equations like this:
y= 2x+1
y=x+4

The point of intersection of these lines should be at point (3,7)
