Basically we need to find the distance between A and B, so:

\begin{gathered} \mleft\Vert AB\mright||=d=\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2+(z2-z1)^2} \\ where \\ A=(x1,y1,z1)=(-1,-7,0) \\ B=(x2,y2,z2)=(-8,8,-10) \\ \Vert AB||=\sqrt[]{(-8-(-1))^2+(8-(-7))^2+(-10-0)^2} \\ \Vert AB||=\sqrt[]{49+225+100} \\ \Vert AB||=\sqrt[]{374} \\ \Vert AB||\approx19.339 \end{gathered}
