reunion is more like a social gathering where lots of people are coming together from being seperated .
reunited is usually the term used for a smaller group/amount of people that have also een seperated for a long period of time .

Reunite is a synonym of reunion. Reunion is a related term of reunite.As a noun reunion is the process or act of reuniting. As a verb reunite is to unite again.
