Answer: X=25

Explanation:
Step 1.) Pick two of the equations (I will be using 4x-30 and 3x-5)

Step 2.)
Set it up: 4x-30 = 3x-5

Step 3.)
Pick a number to get rid of (remember what you do on one side you have to do with the other) :
4x-30=3x-5
+30 +30
Step 4.) Your new equation: 4x=3x+25 (The reason you add it and not subtract is because it is -30 so on a number line it would look like this -30____0____1 therefore in order to get 0 you need to add 30 to get it to 0 not subtract. The best way to think of this really is a bank account you borrowed 5 dollars so now you're 5 dollars in debt (-5) you were given 30 dollars but you owe some 5 dollars so you have to give the person you owe 5 dollars and now you're left with 25 dollars to keep.

Step 5.)
now you have to get x on one side so we will subtract because we need to get it to 0 and unlike step 3 these numbers are positive.
4x=3x+25
-3x -3x

Step 6.) Your new equation is 1x=25

Step7.) divided x by 1....(we're trying to x alone but there's a number right beside x so we have to get rid of it) The reason we divided and not subtract is that when a number is beside a variable like this it means its getting multiplied it can be read like this ex: 5
a means we have 5 times whatever the a variable is
1x=25
_ _
1 1

Step 8.)
Your new answer is x= 25
