There is a 20% markup on a tv if the tv is $450 before the markup what is the cost after the markup

The answer is 540 multiply 20 by 450 then divide by 100 and add 90

Hello!
If the markup is 20% you would multiply $450 by .20 to get $90. Then you add $90 to $450

Here's a simpler version...
$450x.20=$90
$450+$90=$540

The answer would equal $540.
