4. the reason she is goddess of the hearth is because she values domesticity, family, and home. a great symbol for all of those things would be a hearth which is what kept a family warm

5. she is both the oldest and the youngest of the Greek Olympians depending on how you look at it, she was the first born (also the first swallowed) but because she was the first swallowed she was the last one to be thrown up
