7r-6 if you simplify that's the answer.

4r + 3(r - 2)

Let's focus on the 3(r-2)

In order to distribute this, we multiply 3 to r AND -2 each

After using the distributive property, we get the following

3(r - 2) = 3r - 6

Now, let's go back to the whole equation

4r + 3(r - 2)

= 4r + 3r - 6

Combine like terms

7r - 6

That's your answer.

Have an awesome day! :)
