Hello!
To solve this out, do it like this.
-5 + (-2) + 3 ---> -5 - 2 + 3 (the positive and negative cancel out)
-5 - 2 + 3 ---> -7 + 3
-7 + 3 =
-4
The answer is
false.

-5 + -2 = -7
