-x+14=28

Answer:

-14

Explanation:

3(x + 2) - 2(2x - 4) = 28

Do the distributive property first.

3x + 6 - 4x + 8 = 28

Add like terms

-1x + 14 = 28

Subtract 14 from both sides

-1x + 14 - 14 = 28 - 14

-1x = 14

Divide both sides by -1

-1x/-1 = 14/-1

x = -14
