to make this simpler i can solve this for you.

To insert the number into the equation you go like this,

A=(pi)r^2

The diameter is that whole line in the circle which is 16 and the r or radius is half the diameter so you would do 16/2, which equals 8. then you insert that into the equation.

A=(pi)8^2

8 to the 2nd power is 64

And im going to round pi to 3.14

so no the equation is

A=3.14*64

The area is 200.96 mi ^2 or rounded 201 mi^2
