At the end of summer, a store marks down all the outdoor furniture by 18%. A family bought 4 chairs in June at 35$ each, then 2 more chairs when they went on sale. How much did all 6 chairs cost?

4 chairs in June at 35$ each = 4 x $35 = $140
2 more chairs when they went on sale = 2 x ($35 x 0.82) = $57.4

total of 6 chairs cost = $140 + $57.4 = $197.4
