You are given two points (-2, 6) and (0, -4)
find the slope: m=(-4-6)/[(0-(-2)]=-5
So you have y=-5x+b
next, find the y intercept b.
the y intercept is when x=0. in this case, the y intercept is -4
so y=-5x-4
