In my opinion, the correct answer is B. Edgar Allan Poe. Even though their topics are different, the two writers share some stylistic features, such as the dark atmosphere with uncanny elements, reality intertwined with dreams, dark depictions of people and their motivations, as well as the use of unreliable narrator.
