There are a lot of Rome's influences on the modern world, but just to name a couple major ones would be architecture and language. In architecture, many styles come from Roman styles , such as domes and arches . ( A great example is the white House ) . Concrete was improved by the Romans and obviously we still use this today.
Latin is a major influence of Rome, as most of our scientific names come from a Latin root. Many words also use Latin prefixes and suffixes.
Lastly , Roman art is still a subject we use in the modern world , such as Frescos and Murals .
