The bar graph shows the number of dinner reservations at a restaurant for one week. What percent of the reservations were for Friday or Saturday?

To start, first add up the total number of reservations made this week which would be adding up the total amount of reservations for each day:
15+5+10+25+40+30+35= 160
Then, since it is asking for the percent of Friday and Saturday, add the amounts together (40+30) which is 70.
Then, set these as a fraction where it is the reservations for Friday and Saturday over the total amount of reservations: 70/160
Now that you got that, do 70 divided by 160 which is 0.4375.
Finally, convert 0.4375 to a percent by moving the decimal right two and you get 43.75% as your answer.
