Electromagnetic waves travel as fast as light. They are represented as wave functions. The parameters involved are: amplitude, frequency and wavelength. The amplitude is the maximum displacement of the wave from equilibrium. Wavelength is the distance from one amplitude to the next. Frequency is the number of cycles (1 wavelength) per second.
