For the second one it would have to be A.
The tell you to use y as the number value ( let’s use 9). They tell you to use n as the order of which it is in the sequence (9 is the third number so we’ll use 3 for n)
A. 9=3+6 TRUE
B. 9=6(3)+1
9=19 FALSE
C. 9=8(3)-1
9=23
D.9=7(3)
9= 21 FALSE
A is the only true statement.

Answer: The first one is y=20x + 40;280

The second one is y=n+6

Explanation:

The first one is y=20x+40 this is because when x is replaced with any number 20 will get multiplied by that number for example.

y=20x+40

If we assume that x is 4:

y=20(4)+40

y=80+40

y=120

our answer is 120.

I hope this helped.
