A rubber ball is dropped from the top of a building, which is 40 ft above the ground. Each time the ball hits the sidewalk, it rebounds to 77% of its previous height. How high will the ball rebound after its sixth bounce?

8.3 ft
10.5 ft
10.8 ft
1,230.0 ft

You can use the formula height =40*.77^x where x is the number of bounces. Plug in 6 and get 8.3

Multiplying 40 feet by 0.77 6 times gives us 40*0.77*0.77*0.77*0.77*0.77*0.77= approximately 8.3 ft. Hope this helped!
