There are 19+2+4=25 women
There are 1+9+5=15 men

there are 25+15=40 people

P=25/40=0,625

Answer:

Option:D

Explanation:

We know that probability of a function is the ratio of favourable cases to the total number of cases possible.

here we have to find the probability that a resident is female.

so it's
Probability=(Total number of females)/(Total number of people)

here the total number of females are=19+2+4

=25

and the total number of males=1+9+5

=15

Hence, total number of people=25+15=40

so
Probability=(25)/(40)

=0.625

Hence option D is correct.
