Based on the record for the past several seasons, a sports fan believes the probability that the red team will win a given game is 3/5. The fan also believes the probability that the blue team wins and giving game is 11/20. As compared to the blue team, how many more games should the fan expect the red team to win during a 180-game season ? Explain.

\begin{gathered} (3)/(5)=0.6 \\ (11)/(20)=0.55 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the probability that the red team wins is 60%, and the probability that the blue team wins is 55%, based on this we can conclude for a 180-game season:

180*0.6=108

The fan expect the red team wins 108 games

For the blue team:

180*0.55=99

As compared to the blue team, the red team:

108-99=7

Will win 7 games more than the blue team
