Hello! So to find the number of seconds it take for light to reach Earth, all you have to do is divide the distance from earn by the distance light travels per second. 93,000,000/186,282 is 499.2430831 or 499.25 seconds when rounded to the nearest hundredth. It takes about 499.25 seconds for light to reach the Earth.
