What value of c makes x2 − 12x + c a perfect square trinomial?

c=36
When a and b are known in a quadratic of the form ax^2 + bx + c, and you know it is a perfect square: foot then c=(b/2)^2, which in this case is (12/2)^2=6^2=36.
