Jolie pulls into the local convenience store to fill her car up with gas. The 89-octane gas is selling for $2.12 a gallon. She uses the pay at the pump feature and decides to get her car washed for an extra $6.00. What is the total amount of her purchase if she gets 10 gallons of gas?

The answer would be C. $27.20

It would be C. $27.20.  The reason why it would be that answer is because you take 2.12 x 10 and that gives you $21.20. Then Jolie decides to get her car washed, which is an extra $6.00. So you add $21.20+$6.00=$27.20
