Raindrops can fall at different speeds; some fall quite quickly, others quite slowly. why might this be true?

Hey there,
This is true. The size of the rain drop affects it's speed. Larger rain drops fall faster than the smaller one's. Also the air temperature and barometric pressure have an effect on it's speed. Wind driven rain drops will go faster as they are acted on by the wind and driven faster.

Hope this helps :))
