What is 3 2/3 plus 2 1/6 and simplify if needed would help also

Hi.

Before we add the fractions, we have to make sure denominators are the same numbers. 3 goes into 6, so the denominators will change to 6.

Oh, and the numerator of the fraction we changed also changes.


3 (4)/(6) + 2(1)/(6) = 5(5)/(6)
