Fairview and Washington are the same distance from the equator, and both cities are near the ocean. The air temperature in Fairview is colder than the air temperature in Washington. What causes the air temperature in these places to be different?

Answer:

This difference to simply because of Ocean Currents.

Step-by-step explanation:

Ocean Currents come from different directions that affect Fairview more than Washington.

Ocean Currents are the conveyer belts of the ocean, directing both warm and cool water toward different places. They send heat toward polar regions and help the tropical regions cool down. Due to this, It influences both Weather and Climate!
