I believe ur answer is < 1 = < 8...because alternate exterior angles are congruent.....this has to do with transversals and parallel lines

reason it is not < 1 = < 4 is because vertical angles are always congruent....this has nothing to do with a transversal and parallel lines. And < 2 and < 4 are not congruent
