For this we will use the the equation:
speed = distance / time
To get speed, we need to do distance/time
For the 2nd hour, the speed is 40/2, so 20 km/h.
For the 5th hour, we do 100/5 = 20km/h.
The rate at which he bikes is 20km/h.
