explain: staff members away= 117×1/3,then we use the total number of members and minus the one who is away and we get
Staff members not travelling
=117-117×1/3
=117-39
=78

Hey You!
117/3 = 39
39*2 = 78
So, 39 members are going away for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and 78 will remain.
