Using the mass and volume of an object, we can calculate its density:

\text{density}=\frac{\text{mass}}{\text{volume}}

If an object's density is smaller than the density of water, the object will float.

If the density is greater than the density of water, the object will sink.

Therefore, the answer is yes.
