In the sequence:

64, 80, 100, 125,

the rate is:

80/64 = 1.25

100/80 = 1.25

125/100 = 1.25

So in the sequence, the rate of growth is 1.25

This in percent is 125%

Because 1.25 is te decimal form of a percent (which can be obtained by simply multiplying the growth decimal number by 100).

b.

112/64 = 1.75

196/112 = 1.75

343/196 = 1.75

So for this sequence, the rate of growth is 1.75 and it is common to all terms in the sequence. This in percent is 175%

Because 1.75 is te decimal form of a percent (which can be obtained by simply multiplying the growth decimal number by 100).

c.

128/64 = 2

256/128 = 2

512/256 = 2

The rate of growth is 2

This in percent is 200%

Because 2.0 is te decimal form of a percent (which can be obtained by simply multiplying the growth decimal number by 100).

d.

100/125 = 0.8

80/100 =0.8

64/80 = 0.8

The rate of growth is 0.8

This in percent is 80%

Because 0.8 is te decimal form of a percent (which can be obtained by simply multiplying the growth decimal number by 100).
