your answer is y=10 because if you add 14 to the left side and subtract 2.8y from the right side youre left with the equation 6+0.2+14=2.2y then you just solve normally. first by subtracting 0.2 from the right side, then adding 6 and 14 which give you 20. then youre left with the equation 20=2y. once you do your last step, which is divide, youre left with 10
