P= 5y+5y = 10y (the slopes are the same length) 10y+4y+4y+4=18y+4
A= For any trapezium this is 1/2(a+b)h, where a and b are the top and bottom straight lengths and h is the height so 1/2(4y+4y+4)4y= (2y+2y+2)4y= (4y+2)4y= 16y^2+8y

here it is given that two sides equals 5y
and perimeter equals to the sum of all the sides
5y +5y + 4y +4y+4 = P
18y + 4 = P *******The equation for perimeter********

Area of a trapezium = h/2 (a+b)
4y /2 (4y+4 +4y)
2y (8y + 4)
16y^2 +8y = A ******The equation for area******
