Lake Baikal is a largest fresh water resource in the world that is located in Russia and its area is so vast that it is mistaken for a sea. It consists of 20% of world fresh water and lot of unique species of plants and animals in and around. So the pollution from the factories on its shores is a major challenge to entire world because of the possibility of polluted water and extinction of these species.
