First, find how many servings the package consists of. Multiply this value by the total fat per serving. The result is total fat in the package. The recommended daily value for fat is 65g. Percentage can be found by using the formula: is/of = %/100. Suppose I had a bag of chips. There's 12g of fat per serving and 4 servings per bag. 4 x 12 = 48. This represents the total fat in the whole package. 48/65 = %/100 --> 48 x 100 = 65 x X% --> 4800/65 = X% --> x = 73.8%
