The formula f = 5280m can be used to convert a measurement of f feet to an equivalent measurement of m miles. If an airplane flies at 58,080 feet above the ground, how much is that in miles?

f = 5280m

if the airplane is at 58,080 ft....so sub in 58080 ft in for f

58080 = 5280m
58080 / 5280 = m
11 = m.....so the plane is 11 miles above the ground
