To use the normal distribution to test a proportion p, the conditions np > 5 and nq > 5 must be satisfied. does the value of p come from h0, or is it estimated by using p̂ from the sample?

I have no idea what the question is all about. I have very little understanding of the normal distribution question asked here. So i am clueless of what to pen down here. I think this question be asked to a group of people who is better with mathematics and not to common people who attend HITs.
