Ghrelin is the hormone that controls the appetite signals between the brain and the stomach. Also, the digestive system exists a section called ileum that is in charge of producing a type of hormone different from ghrelin that is responsible for producing in the organism a sensation of satiety and that the brain interprets as having no desire to eat.
