The GCF of an odd number and an even number is always even. True or false?

Hi! That is false. It depends on the even and odd number. For example, the GCF of 5 and 10 is 5. The GCF of 7 and 14 is 7. 5 and 7 are odd numbers, so the GCF of an even and odd number is not always even.
