Explanation:

If 13 out of 18 players are seniors then 5 of them are not.

To find the percentage you do (5/18) â‹… 100

5 divided by 18 gives us 0.27777778

Then we multiply by 100 (or move the decimal point two spaces to the right)

The result should be 27.7778%

there are 18 players, 13 are seniors, that means 18 - 13 are not seniors, namely 5.

now if we take 18 to be the 100%, what is 5 off of it in percentage?
