x = 7, y =3^7 = 2187
x = 8 , y = 3^8 = 6561
6561 - 2187 = 4374

Yes the rate of change would be 3. This is because on both tables the X or interval is 1 and the Y is being multiplied by 3 therefore the rate of change is 3. Hope this helps!
