Only Odysseus would know the secret about the bed. He tells her the story of the tree from their house and how he built a bed from it. Nobody knew that story except them

Answer:

Only Odysseus would know the secret about the bed.

Step-by-step explanation:

One of the palace maids will wake up Penelope, warning that her husband has returned. Penelope, controlling the enthusiasm, thinks that her husband is dead, and man in the house can be an impostor or a god in disguise.

For this reason, Penelope decides to test him, saying that she changed the place bed. The bed was built by Ulysses and only he and Penelope knew that the bed could not be removed from the place.

On hearing this, Ulysses says that changing the place bed would be impossible, as the bed was attached to a large tree in the bedroom. Thus penelope realize that the man really is Ulysses. The two embrace and sleep together, exchanging vows of love and telling the adventures they have lived.
