What healthful condiments might you suggest to take the place of pancake syrups and sugary jellies for breakfast?

I would personally advocate Ketchup. It can go with almost anything. It is generally low in calories/sugar. It is also sometimes be attributed to better eyesight. It also shares the overpowering taste quality of syrups and jellies.

However Honey can also substitute since it is generally "all" natural and can have health benefits in small doses. It is also sweeter than ketchup. (probably goes more palatable with breakfast foods) Also if it is honey from the local area it can help with pollen-related allergies.

There are many options to choose from other than pancake syrups and sugary jellies. Here are some of them:
- applesauce
- pureed fruit
- real, pure maple syrup
- arrowroot
- yogurt
- agave
- honey
