The recommended saturated fat percentage recommended by the American Heart Association is less than 5-6% of total calorific intake.

For a typical adult this equates to no more than 11 - 13 grams of saturated fat. For reference a McDonald's cheeseburger contains 12 grams of fat, of which 5g is saturated. Note this doesn't mean it is ok to eat 2 cheeseburgers per day!

The answer to this question should be: 5%

The recommendation of saturated fat consumption is about 5-6% of total calorie intake. That means, for 2,000kkcal diet, there should be only 100-120 calorie from saturated fat. Fat gives about 9kkcal/grams so it should be 11-13 gram.
